Bohetang (薄荷塘) is one of the standout famous micro-regions of Yiwu that used to be sold under the Wangong region.  Due to geography, the size and quality of the Tier 1 trees, it was separated in production and identified with unique characteristics and so now it has become a collectors' tea within the connoisseurs market. 
 
This is a pure first-pick, single-batch offering of under 3kg, and like the rest of our single estate teas, shows off the unique terroir qualities in its truly unadulterated form.  This year's production is even more unique due to the dry weather during the first pick.  Unlike the collectors, many tea tourists avoided the first pick due to the ultra slow-growth/unattractive leaves, but what they don't realize is that less 'attractive' does not equate to poor quality.  If anything, this year's leaves are better quality due to the slow growth and stress on the trees.
