This time traveller pack is designed to help those new to Yiwu or Puer tea to experience different ages maturity of Yiwu tea.
These teas were processed then stored for 4-6 months as maocha in Yiwu, Xishuangbanna. After that, they were compressed then shipped to and stored in Guangzhou. Maocha samples were shipped to Guangzhou soon after maocha processing was completed. The natural heat and humidity of Guangzhou helps to mature the tea more quickly than in drier, colder regions such as Kunming. The older samples are starting to mature and while not quite 'ripe', they certainly show off the maturing flavours and complexity compared to the younger samples which were made from a very similar blend.
This pack contains 20g samples of Yiwu Qiaomu from the following years (total of 120g):
